At-home canning and pickling has become a trend lately in the food world. Lynnae’s Gourmet Pickles is a local-woman owned business that has taken a handed down pickle recipe (which was create before pickling was “trendy”) and turned it into a local phenomenon. The recipe was passed down to Lynnae Schneller from her great grandmother, "Grandma Toots." Get them in two flavors: Mrs Pickles, the original sweet and sour dill recipe, and Hot Mama, the spicy version. You can get Lynnae's Gourmet pickles in spears, chips or relish form. The pickles can be found at Greener Bean Coffee Co. in Fircrest, Harbor Greens Market in Gig Harbor and Rosedale Market in Gig Harbor.
