Tacoma Farmers Markets Bounty Available to Restaurants

Posted @ Jul. 26 2011 10:47AM by Lauren - eat-drink

Plump berries and sweet peppers already add color to Tacoma’s three farmers markets. But this week among select summer fruit n’ veg booths, signs proclaiming “Chef Friendly” are set to crop up.

What does this mean for whole sale customers? It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Participating farmers signify their availability to wholesale their products by hanging said sign.
2. Customers can shop any of the markets to source ingredients.
3. Chefs—enjoy working with the freshest produce.
