From rock candy towers to eye-catching outdoor installations, the Museum of Glass and surrounding architecture is likely the most photographed location in Tacoma.
Have you caught the hot-shop’s exterior in all its glory? Museum of Glass and photographer Peter Serko invite you to share your snaps as part of Transformation: Art Changes A City to open August 7. Eighteen of Serko’s museum photographs make up the bulk of the exhibition, but with a public involvement component in place, your photo, be it captured with cellphone or hefty SLR, may be among the chosen ones to be compiled into a slideshow.
Submissions can be made via Serko’s Flickr.com site: www.flickr.com/groups/giveusyourbestshot/. A panel of jurors will select images for the initial slideshow, and submissions will be reviewed and the slideshow updated on an ongoing basis. More information: www.museumofglass.org/exhibitions/serko.
